It’s the time of year where I adore living in Texas… it’s 70 with a cool breeze and wildflowers are blooming everywhere- what’s not to love? come August I will be dreaming of living in Colorado, Alaska or Antarctica to get out of the sweltering mess.. but for now I will enjoy the sweet sunny, unsticky bliss of Texas Spring. This brings me to my first Friday Fave:
Speaking of sweet, sunny bliss… there is nothing too blissful about sunburns- which I learned today after being outside this morning without my normal sunscreen and BB cream… my shoulders and face look like Bob the tomato – sorry I tried to think of a more poetic metaphor but couldn’t find one #toddlermom. Friends, don’t let your face become a veggie tales metaphor… you have so much more to live for… Last summer I shared about my favorite non toxic face sunscreen and BB cream & chapstick, that actually doesn’t make me break out #miracle. Here are my fave products and you can read more about them here.
LAUGH: the Other night we were at Chick fil A…and C (4 years old) and F (2 years old) had a fight over their ice cream. This is my hubby’s play by play
F: *upset at Chick-fil-A
F: “C eat my ice cream!”
Me: Deducing C stuck his finger into Fs ice cream and took a lick, “Did you eat his ice cream? ”
C: “I won’t eat it anymore”
F: *Furring his brow, jabs his finger in Cs mouth and then dips it back in his ice cream cone.
C:*a little stuned
F: “I take it back!”
Charity & I and everyone else can’t help but bust out laughing
They really are the best of Friends… but even best friends need healthy boundaries and I think everyone keeping your ice cream to yourself is a good one.
LINGER: I am LOVING this book….today, I sat down and let my kids watch Bob the Builder so I could read this book. #momoftheyear…but its just that good…and definitely is getting me fired up to decorate our new home in the Cozy Minimalist way!

Well, on that note…enjoy spring time- or if its still frigid where you live enjoy the thought that in August, I will be miserable and you will be happy…
friends, I am praying for you… like I really, really am… that today you would experience the power and love of God like never before!
