Anyone else have a week where it felt like Winter and Spring were competing for top spot on your weather app? We began our week with the hubby covering our outdoor faucets because of freezing temps and we ended the week with highs in the 70’s… only in Texas…these are the reasons I never put away any items of seasonal clothing from our wardrobes. I’m hoping Spring is here to stay!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I shared in this weeks Tuesday Talk (HERE if you missed it), about how to navigate change well- even when it’s hard! Including these sweet boys in the moving process has been fun! I am loving seeing my boys servant hearts in wanting to help me pack. Even Zeke was excited to be a part by rattling the packing paper.
My boys started soccer this week. I was watching F play this week and let me tell you… this little guy had all the parents laughing…. whether he was picking up the ball and perfectly positioning it in front of the goal and then running over to tell me he needed “water and a rest because he was so tierd from making my goal”, or spending half of class sitting in the goal, or running around picking up the cones that were covering ant hills and broadcasting “there’s ants here!” Or the time he argued with the coach about the rules of red light, green light emphatically maintaining his stance that “orange light means fast not green”… I think it’s obvious there’s a soccer scholarship in his future 😂😂😂⚽️⚽️⚽️. Any other parents have some hilarious toddlers on sports team memories?
LINGER: A writer friend and beautiful Mama, Kristine, shares about her courageous journey of choosing hope and joy in Jesus in the midst of the devastating loss of her baby daughter at only 30 weeks. I was challenged and encouraged by her story, you can READ IT HERE.
LIKE: So many of you have commented and shared your Enneagram type, after reading the first part of our Enneagram and Motherhood Series. We’ll continue on Monday with some more Mama’s sharing about their types. Until then I wanted to mention this great podcast if you are interested in learning more about the Enneagram, or maybe are unsure what your type is.
Have a wonderful weekend! I am praying for you!
