It’s been a rough week here, our Bengal cat Jaxson, unexpectedly died…Jaxson was Rene’s cat before we even got married so he really was like part of the family. He was the most social and adventurous cat, ever. He was so patient with all the toddlers who would chase him and pull his tail… I think he secretly liked all the fanfare and adoration he received from the toddler paparazzi because he would always lay himself down in front of the kids. He was also the smartest cat – Rene had trained him to do tricks and he had even figured out how to open doors!
For readers of this blog my first go around… you may remember I chronicled some of Jaxson and mine’s Love/hate relationship as I took on the role of his “Kitty Stepmom”- if you’re interested you can read about his many adventures here.
RIP Jaxson..😿
This brings me to the first Friday Fave…
LINGER: Remembering all the crazy adventures this cat had. Jaxson you will be missed
LAUGH: ok, I feel like I need a laugh right about now – here’s my favorite meme from this week
LOVE: So today is actually our 6th Anniversary!!! And although we will be celebrating another weekend because my son’s birthday is right around this time too… I want to give a shout out to my amazing husband Rene… he really is a hero in every sense of the word. He is a man of integrity, a man who fiercely loves others and protects the innocent and weak. He is wise and so much fun to be with. He also happens to be really techie… and although I don’t understand much techie stuff at all… I am so thankful continually for his genius in this area… the other night he literally found a way to resurrect HOURS of work I had done on my blog – that hadn’t saved (even though I pressed saved)… that’s just who he is… very intelligent…and always looking for a way to serve and help others with his knowledge and skills! I love you Babe!!!
